Pascall+Watson have been commissioned to design a new greenfield terminal at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, in Nairobi, following their successful submission in a limited competition. The terminal will be constructed in two phases, with the first able to handle up to 12.5mppa. The commissioning and delivery has been a joint effort between the Kenyan Airports Authority (Kenya), Triad Architects (Kenya), Louis Berger Group (USA), Pascall+Watson (UK), AVIC Engineering (China), and CATIC (China). Construction is underway with completion planned for 2018. This project marks Pascall+Watson's first new build terminal, as part of their continued expansion in Africa and the Middle East.
